With an admiration for all things handmade and a deep sense of the past, Ashley has emersed herself into the craft of bookbinding & embroidery, often combining them to make one-of-a-kind pieces with a historical feel.

While not working in her small studio in Fairbanks, Alaska, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband & two children, travelling to the UK, and attempting to teach herself Old English. She is an active member of the Northwoods Book Arts Guild where she is a board member, teaches classes, and organizes events (nwbookarts.org).
